01. Background

Gen Z

The popularity of owning houseplants surged by 18% in the wake of the pandemic. While there are numerous benefits to having indoor plants, Generation Z appears to struggle in managing them due to their hectic schedules.

Current Method 

Various types of houseplants demand specific care steps tailored to their unique characteristics. Acquiring knowledge through videos, tips, and guides is essential for their well-being. Moreover, staying attentive to your plants' needs is paramount to their thriving health.

After the pandemic, unemployment rose and more people started working from home. This led to an increase in mental health issues due to a lack of exposure to nature. Many people addressed this by getting houseplants.

Before the COVID pandemic, working from home wasn't common. Homes were utilized less than 50% of the time.

Plants Are New Pets & Pets Are The New Baby's

Approximately 70% of Generation Z members have been responsible for the demise of at least ten plants in their history.

I prefer the stick version, it grabs my attention more quickly.

I like this one because it's integrated into the control hub.

This feels more natural, I would notice this one more while walking by.

The second one suits my style better, I don't like feeling the pressure of constant changes.
